Aleksei Mikhailovich Serko

State Secretary – Deputy Minister for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief.

Mr. Serko was born on 22 October 1969 in the city of Leningrad. In 1991, he graduated from the Higher Political School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the USSR. In 1998, he graduated from the Legal Department of the Saint Petersburg State University.

1987 - 1995 – served in the Armed Forces.

1999 - 2002 – assistant of Sergei Stepashin, the Deputy Head of Public Reception Office of Sergei Stepashin in the city of Saint Petersburg.

2002 - 2003 – Councilor of the Secretary General of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Deputy Head of Secretariat of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

2003 - 2008 – Deputy of the Head of the Central Office of the Federation Council.

2008 - 2011 – First Deputy of the Head of the Central Office of the Federation Council.

2011 - 2012 – Deputy Head of the Protocol Department in the The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

2012 - 2018 –assistant, Senior assistant of the Prosecutor general for special tasks.

By Order No.450 of the President of the Russian Federation of 24 July 2018 is appointed to the position of the State Secretary – Deputy Minister for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief.

Mr. Serko is 1st Class Full State Councilor of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Serko is 3rd Class State Councilor of Justice.

Mr. Serko was repeatedly awarded for his diligent work.

He is married.
