Kryuchek Nikolai Alekseyevich

Mr. Kryuchek was born on 23 November 1958 in the town of Belopolye, Sumy Region of Ukraine. In 1988 he graduated from the Kuybyshev’s MilitaryEngineeringAcademy.

1976-1980 – cadet in the Moscow Higher Military School of Road and Engineering Troops;

1980-1986 – Commander of a platoon, Commander of a company, Deputy Commander of a Battalion that provided training process for 37 Higher Central Officer Courses of the Civil Defence of the USSR.

1986-1988 – student in the Kuybyshev’s MilitaryEngineeringAcademy.

1988-1992 – professor, senior professor of 312 courses dedicated to Civil Defence of the RussianSovietFederativeSocialistRepublic.

1992-1994 – Leading Specialist, Officer, Senior Officer of the Senior Staff and Population Training of the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

1994-1996 - Deputy Head of Search and Rescue Units Office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

1996-1999 – Senior Officer of the Office for Inspections of Territories and Agencies of the Chief Inspections Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

1999-2001 – Head of the Office for training of the population, senior management and civil organizations of civil defence in the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

2001-2004 – Deputy Head of the Civil Defence Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

2004-2014 – Deputy Head of the State Small Vessels Inspectorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry;

2014-2017 – Deputy Head of Water Safety Office.

Since February 2017 – Head of Water Safety Office.

He has state and departmental awards: 2nd Class Medal of Order For Merit to the Fatherland in 1997, Order of Honor in 2011, For Merits in 1999, For Distinguished Service in 2001, Honorary Badge of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in 2001, For Cooperation in the Name of Rescue in 2006, For Propaganda of Rescue in 2008, Distinguished Employee of the Small Vessels Inspectorate in 2009, XX Years to Russian Emergencies Ministry in 2010, Marshall Vasily Chuikov Memorable Medal in 2012, For Eagerness in 2014, 25 Years to Russian Emergencies Ministry in 2015.

He is married and has two children.
