The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet-100 has carried out a medical evacuation of 2 gravely ill children from the town of Ufa to Moscow.
The patients are in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical treatment.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors, which allow rendering medical aid during the flight.
Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Team, the Zashchita Center of the Russian Health Ministry, and a psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid of the Russian Emergencies Ministry accompanied the patients during the flight.
Upon arrival, the patients were delivered to hospitals of Moscow for specialized treatment.
