The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s specialists have ended a fire and rescue search dog training session in the city of Sukhum, Abkhazia. Specialists from Abkhazia took part in the session.
Theoretical and practical exercises in fire and rescue search dog training were held, as well as special tests.
2 search dog units of the Emergencies Ministry of Abkhazia and the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as 1 unit of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and 11 volunteer-rescuers of the Russian Union of Rescuers took part in the training session. Certified tests were carried out in accordance with the requirements.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry provides aid to Abkhazian colleagues in training. Both of the Ministries cooperate in psychological, search dog, mountaineering, diving and emergency and rescue operations.
