The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Antonov An-148 jet has carried out a medical evacuation of two gravely ill children from the town of Nazran and the city of Grozny to the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
The patients are in need of urgent high-tech and highly-qualified medical treatment.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors that allow rendering medical to the patients aid during the flight.
Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Team and the Zashchita All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine of the Russian Health Ministry accompanied the patients during the flight.
Upon arrival, the patients were delivered to a hospital in Nizhny Novgorod for necessary medical treatment.
