Russian Emergencies Ministry prepares to XI Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition

One of the largest events of the year, the XI Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 June. The Expo for the third time in a row will be held at the Noginsk Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. About 20,000 people visit the expo every year. The expo is organized by the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Ministry of Internal of Russia.

Over the last years the Salon became the largest Russian expo project. Its task is to demonstrate results of the state policy on providing comprehensive safety. The latest technologies and development in the field are presented at the expo. It also gives a unique opportunity to directly contact developers and potential customers, as well as to discuss promising projects.

The exposition of the Salon will be located on more than 20,000 square meters of area. Intensive business and demo programs are planned for the next few days.  More than 300 companies, several thousands of specialists in safety, as well as foreign guests and colleagues will take part in the events. Delegations from more than 25 countries have already confirmed their participation, including Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Slovenia, Syria, Iceland, India, Ecuador, Nepal and other countries.

All participants of the expo are provided with free showrooms. Such format allows involving not only major companies that are working in the field of safety and security, but also small and medium businesses that are interested in promoting innovative designs.

The All-Russian meeting on problems of civil defense and protection of population, featuring heads of federal executive authorities and constituent entities of the Russian Federation, is going to be one of the most important events of the Salon.

Round tables to discuss actual topics of safety and security, as well as several scientific conferences, will be held at the central booth of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

Traditionally, an interdepartmental drill featuring rescuers from other countries will be held at the opening of the Salon. New high-tech rescue, firefighting and special equipment will be demonstrated. Interactive booths with robotics will be open, as well as expo of the vintage firefighting equipment, performances of the mounted rescue units and the Orchestra of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The II RoboEMERCOM All-Russian Robotics Festival of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will be held this year at the Salon.

Special grounds for children will be open at the Salon. The children will be able to play volleyball, ride catamarans, try themselves as rescuers and work with real rescue tools, as well as many other entertainments.

This year, several new events will be held during the Salon. For the first time, the on-site meeting of the Committee on safety and counteraction to corruption of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on improvement of legislation in fire safety, civil defense, protection of population and territories against emergencies and disasters will be held at the Salon. Also, the All-Russian competition in UAV piloting will be held during the Expo.
