A special screening of the Sobibor movie for employees of the Ministry has been held in the State Fire Service Academy. Senior management of the Ministry, employees of the Central Office, firemen and rescuers, cadets of departmental Universities were invited to the screening.
Actors and producers presented the movie before screening. They pointed out that they get a lot of reviews from viewers, as the movie has been already released. In particular, the creative producer Alexander Zvyagintsev said: “We showed all the brutality that was happening in death camps over the years of the war. Today you will see a movie about a hero Alexander Pechyorsky: a man, who rose a revolt and proved that even such evil system as fascism, and Sobibor death camp in particular, can be defeated”.
Producer Maria Zhuromskaya also told about premiere screenings of the movie abroad and in Russia.
The movie, based on actual events, is set during tragic pages of the Great Patriotic War and tells a story about deeds of the Red Army Officer Alexander Pechyorsky and his comrades in fighting Nazism.
Rescuers thanked the actors and producers for organizing special a screening for the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s employees, which was initiated by the Memorial Fund of Alexander Pechyorsky.
