The handing down ceremony was held at the port of Roseau, the capital city of Dominica, in presence of the Minister of Justice, Immigration and National Security Mr. Rayburn Blackmoore, ambassador Mr. Hubert Charles and other Dominican officials. On behalf of the Ministry, the event was attended by deputy director of the International Cooperation Department Igor Veselov.

The Dominican Government expressed deep gratitude for humanitarian assistance provided by Russia.

During his trip to Dominica, Mr. Veselov held talks with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit during which they discussed cooperation in disaster management.
