The Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has carried out an emergency meeting of the working group of the Governmental Emergency Response Commission and declared emergency situation in Ramenskoye District, Moscow Region due to the crash of Antonov An-148 jet.
“Emergency situation is declared for the National Crisis Management Center, the Crisis Management Center of Moscow Region, as well as all services involved into relief operations”, said Vladimir Puchkov.
Emergency situation was also declared for the fire and rescue garrison of Orenburg Region.
The Minister also ordered taking all relief operations under strict control.
“Deploy forces at the scene. Whole disaster area must be taken under control. Use UAVs. Search operation must be extremely through, search for the flight recorders”, said Vladimir Puchkov.
Vladimir Puchkov also reported that search and rescue operation at the crash site in Moscow Region will be continued round the clock.
“Search and rescue operations continue. Rescue efforts will be carried out round the clock. Rescuers are working in shifts”, said the Minister.
As of now, Russian Emergencies Ministry’s task groups are working in airports of Domodedovo and Orsk, they render necessary aid to the families and friends of the passengers and the crew.
