Emergency Ministry’s Bo-105 carries out medevac of seriously-ill child from Vladimir to Moscow

An Emergency Ministry’s Bo 105 has successfully carried out medical evacuation of a child severely injured in the collision of a passenger train and bust that happened on 6 October 2017 in Petushki District, Vladimir Region. The patient was transported from Vladimir to Moscow.

The child is in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical care.

The helicopter is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, ventilators and cardiomonitors allowing providing medical care aboard.

During the flight the patient was accompanied by medical specialists of the All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry and Moscow Healthcare Department’s Research institute for Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology.

In Moscow, the patient is going to be transferred to the Research institute for Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology to get necessary medical aid.
