Over 43,000 servicemen, rescuers, employees and specialists from the Federal Fire Service of the Emergencies Ministry with more than 9,500 units of fire and rescue equipment will provide safety during of election centers during the Election Day on 10 September.
Staff of the election centers were instructed on safety before the Election Day.
The Emergencies Ministry’s territorial bodies planned reserve of personnel and equipment to be involved in case of emergencies, duty schedules were set up for senior management of the Emergencies Ministry’s divisions.
The Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov reported that the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s specialists will be set to high alert for the Election Day. According to him, the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s aircraft and all-terrain vehicles will be used to reach remote areas and provide opportunity to vote to people in these areas.
