The closing ceremony of the 8th International Mines Rescue Body Conference has taken place today in the Catherine Hall of the Tsaritsyno museum and reserve in Moscow.
The Deputy Emergencies Minister Vladlen Aksyonov opened the ceremony.
“On behalf of Organizing Committee I express gratitude for participating in the conference, your contribution to development of the mines rescue and fruitful cooperation”, referred the Deputy Minister to the participants of the Conference. “I hope that professional cooperation within the conference will serve as an impulse in further development and improvement of your daily activities on prevention and mitigation of emergencies in mines”.
The ceremony, dedicated to passing of the flag and a certificate of a full member of the IMRB to the Head of the National Mining Agency of Colombia Gloria Catalina, was held at the end of the event. Colombia was unanimously elected to the international mines rescue community during the IMRB members meeting. Colombia will hold the next conference in 2019.
Armenia’s initiative to enter the international community was also unanimously supported by members of a plenary session.
Associate certificates were handed to the Chairman of Board of Directors of Dezega company and the Chairman of Board of Directors of Dräger company, both of which are the leading companies in development and manufacturing of mines rescue equipment.
“The human live is priceless. We are proud that every day we are working to save lives”, said the Chairman of Board of Directors of Dezega Company Anton Sakovich. “We develop, manufacture and maintain our equipment with only one purpose – is to help its users in the most adverse and extreme situations, when there is nothing to rely on”.
At the end of the Conference, the Deputy Minister Vladlen Aksyonov expressed hope that the event will be remembered by the participants as one of the most fruitful, interesting and pleasant events.
“Today is the last day of the 8th International Mines Rescue Body Conference”, said Vladlen Aksyonov. “ I hope that additional program that will be held in Saint-Petersburg from 10 to 13 September 2017 is going to be as saturated and informative as this one”.
