Within next 5 years the Russian Emergency Ministry plans to create a new integrated life safety system in Sverdlovsk Region. The Crisis Management Center is going to get higher capabilities by adoption of latest IT. A satellite data center is also going to be created in the city of Yekaterinburg. To do that, more than 1 billion rubles are going to be allocated each year from the federal, regional and municipal budgets, as well as by business community.
“In the next 5 years we are planning to create a new integrated life safety system which will tale safety in large and in medium-size towns and remote rural settlements in Sverdlovsk Region, to a new level,” Mr. Puchkov said during his working trip to the region.
During that time potential of all Emergency Ministry’s response divisions is going to be developed by new equipment, gears, tools, creation of new divisions in remote rural settlements and new format of integrated coverage of areas.
The new system is going to minimize risks of natural disasters happening because of climate changes.
