The Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov handed ministerial awards to the most distinguished organizers and participants of the X Integrated Safety and Security-2017 Exhibition (hereinafter the Salon) today.
Over 20 employees of the Emergencies Ministry received ministerial awards (such as “For Propaganda of Rescuing”, “Cooperation in the name of Rescue” medals of the Emergencies Ministry) for well planned organizing and carrying out of the International Salon.
The Minister Puchkov pointed out that “every employee of the Ministry deserves an award”.
“Today in the CentralRegionalCenter we honor the best, who proved their professionalism, practical skills and proficiency in use of the modern Russian equipment and vehicles”, said the Minister Puchkov. “I would also like to point out the increased preparedness and cooperation between the aircraft, ground fire and rescue forces and other divisions, professionalism of the mine rescuers and everybody who took part in the demonstrational drill. This year we gave special attention to new forms and methods of children training in safety”.
The Chairman of the Emergencies Ministry’s Veteran Council Dmitry Mikhailik, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Central Federal District Nikolai Ovsienko also congratulated the participants of the expo.
At the end of the ceremony Vladimir Puchkov, Dmitry Mikhaiik, the senior management of the Ministry, personnel of the CentralRegionalCenter laid flowers to the Memorial dedicated to firefighters and rescuers, who died on duty.
This year the Intergrated Safety and Security-2017 expo was special in several ways. All events took place in the NoginskRescueCenter of the Emergencies Ministry. There also were much more participants from small and medium business, as booths for the displays were given for free.
The latest designs of the rescue and specialized equipment were demonstrated during the expo. New designs of fire engines, as well as vehicles for rescue people from heights and Arctic vehicles were also demonstrated.
All willing Muscovites and guests of the capital were invited to the demonstrational drill of the Emergencies Ministry featuring aircraft, robotics, new fire and rescue equipment. Over 1,500 people and 200 units of equipment took part in the drill.
Rescuers from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Mongolia, as well as personnel from Jordan Fire and Rescue Unit took part in the drill together with the Russian colleagues.
Special attention was given to the youth and their safety. The expo had special places for children, such as robotics grounds, mountaineering course, labyrinth, canine and horse stations.
Over 300 companies and over 3,000 specialists demonstrated their designs and development in the field of safety. Also more than 220 representatives of Emergency Agencies from 53 countries and international organizations, including UN took part in the Salon. Over 16,000 people visited the Salon within 3 days.
