The humanitarian convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry loaded with relief goods for the people of Donbas has crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border. There were no delays on the way.
The convoy separated into parts. One of them arrived to Donetsk border checkpoint and the other to Mamayev-Kurgan checkpoint. Ukrainian and Russian customs examined the cargo in accordance with international legislation on delivery of humanitarian good.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s vehicles moved through checkpoint with open cargo bays in accordance with requirements. Not only vehicles and cargo were examined, as well as covering documents.
After examination, the vehicles loaded with about 400 tons of relief goods continued on their way to unloading stations in Donetsk and Luhansk Regions of Ukraine. The relief goods include children foodstuffs, medical equipment and medicine.
