Vladimir Puchkov has today gone on a working trip to Tula Region.
The Minister is going to open a new modern building of the Tula Region Crisis Management Center, inspect preparedness of forces and facilities of the Tula Region territorial subsystem of the Single State Disaster Management System, discuss current issues with the Tula Region Government, as well as together with Minister of Open Government Mikhail Abyzov hold a meeting with business community to discuss first results of a inspecting reform.
The Minister also flew around Moscow and Tula Regions aboard a Mil Mi-8 helicopter.
At present, the flood situation in central Russia is developing in accordance with the forecast. At the same time, some regions of Central Federal District are starting experiencing wildfire season: four fires are detected in Moscow area alone each day.
Following the flying around the area and monitoring Mr. Puchkov ordered tighter control over the fire situation.
“In general, the situation in Central Federal District is stable. But this problem requires high attention from both local authorities and residents,” the Minister said.
