The Psychological Service of the Emergencies Ministry and the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid celebrate the 18 Anniversary since their establishment. Since 1999 the system joined over 700 specialists all over the country, which protect psychological well-being of people in emergencies. These specialists complete the main function of the Emergencies Ministry – prevent emergencies, provide preparedness to response and mitigation of emergencies. The Center for Emergency Psychological Aid and it 8 branches is the leading institute in the Emergencies Ministry’s psychological service. Since 2002 the Center of the Emergency Psychological Aid heads the Candidate of Psychological Sciences Yulia Shoigu.
